True confession: I am not hip. If you need further evidence, ask me about the story when I worked at the United Nations 7 years ago and blew off Billy Joel because I did not know who he was. Seriously, Billy Joel. But I do have hip friends. Their names are Caitlin and Jeff. Chris and I are pretty much in love with them. We think we were meant to be because we followed them from Utah to New York and now Chicago. They live about 3 blocks from us and we hang out with them a lot. We are very similar to them, except they are hip. Anyway, when they suggested we go to a free concert of She and Him (a band I never would have heard of without them) in Millenium Park, I decided to go with Ella even though Chris was in New York for work. A bunch of our pals here went and it was a super fun night. Zooey Deschanel is the epitome of hip and I love Chicago summers. I also love our friends here--they're always up for fun adventures. I think I miss Chicago already.
