Museum of Science and Industry

One of the great things about Chicago is all the amazing museums.  We met up with my mother-in-law, Sharmon, and my sister-in-law, Marci (two of my favorite people) and her boys at the Museum of Science and Industry a few weeks ago.  I love getting together with Chris' family because they are the main reason we moved to Chicago and it makes me feel good about being here.

Ella was a little overwhelmed at first by all the kids and noise at the museum, but she eventually warmed up and we had a great time.

There is an entire section on farming in the Midwest.  I have to say I learned a lot.

Ella and Grandma Sharmon

The coolest part of the museum is that you can watch baby chicks hatch.  Ella was very interested.

This is such a classic Ella look.  They have a play area for the little kids and she was checking out this play house.

On the move!

  2. So cute! I love that little face. You can just see the wheel turning as she tries to figure all this out! Those little cheeks look so kissable. I can't even believe you have a little person. I am dying to meet this gal! I like your hair by the way. Cute!
