A Visitor to the Chateau Ward

My dear friend Angela came to visit a few weeks ago from Washington D.C.  The Chateau Ward had not been booked for a while, so we were really excited for Angela to come (plus, she is super fun).  We went shopping on Michigan Avenue, visited Millenium Park, got cheesecake at the John Hancock Building overlooking the city, went to the Art Institute, ate deep-dish pizza, walked on Lake Michigan in Evanston, went to the Bah'ai temple, and had many other adventures.  But mostly, we just talked and talked and talked.  It was such a fun weekend and we have been going through Angela withdrawals ever since.  Ella was a big fan of Angie and especially loved to borrow her makeup brushes to taste and sweep the floor. :)

On Friday night, we went to Devon St. for Indian food with our other dear friend, Heather Wade (who happens to be in my ward here--Heather Wade/Heather Ward--I know, it's very confusing).  We all met in Jerusalem over 10 years ago.  I love these girls and it was fun to catch up.

At the Art Institute--one of my favorite places in Chicago!

Ella was clearly in the Angie Fan Club

Ella and Angie even had matching boots--they were meant to be buddies!
